Find answers to common questions about MACNOX cloud Mac infrastructure: how to connect, how to configure physical nodes, and how to manage orders and billing.
01 // INFRASTRUCTURE
Infrastructure & Hardware
Are the devices dedicated physical machines?[ − ]
Yes. MACNOX provides 100% dedicated native physical nodes. We use no virtualization layer to partition resources, fundamentally eliminating performance overhead and "noisy neighbor" interference, ensuring the purest compute experience possible.
Is bandwidth and the IP address dedicated?[ + ]
All delivered physical nodes come standard withdedicated international backbone bandwidth(1 Gbps or 10 Gbps depending on the model), and each machine is assigned adedicated public IPv4 addresswith no hidden port restrictions or traffic blocking.
Which data center regions are supported?[ + ]
We are currently deployed in top-tier Tier-3 and above data centers worldwide. Supported regions include:Singapore、Japan、South Korea、Hong Kong, China andUS East / West. Available regions may vary by model based on real-time inventory.
What is the "Multi-Mac Clustering" service?[ + ]
This is a high-performance add-on service for advanced M4 nodes. If you purchase multiple physical nodes with Thunderbolt 5 support, our on-site data center engineers will hardware-chain these devices via Thunderbolt physical cables to enable ultra-low-latency memory interconnect — ideal for building local AI inference clusters.
02 // CONNECTIVITY
Connection & Operations
How do I connect via VNC?[ + ]
First, get your node public IP and preset VNC password from the console. For security, we recommend whitelisting your current IP in the console firewall panel. Once allowed, use the built-in macOS Screen Sharing app or any VNC client and enter the address vnc://YOUR_IP_ADDRESS:5900 to connect to the graphical desktop.
How do I connect via SSH?[ + ]
After entering your SSH public key during checkout or in the console settings, it will be automatically injected into the machine. Use your private key to run the command ssh -i /path/to/your/key root@YOUR_IP_ADDRESSto obtain full administrator access to the server and freely install environments such as Homebrew.
How do I power on / shut down / restart?[ + ]
Please log in to theConsole, select the target device, then click thePower On、Shut DownorRestartbutton. The underlying device management orchestration layer will execute the action at the hardware power level upon receiving the command.
How do I view my device configuration?[ + ]
Log in to the console and select the device you want to view from the left sidebar. The main panel on the right will list the machine chip model (Apple M4 / M4 Pro), number of compute cores, total unified memory, and current storage capacity.
03 // BILLING_SUPPORT
Billing & Support
How long does it take to activate after purchase?[ + ]
After successful payment, the underlying automation takes over. System flashing and IP assignment are completed quickly. Delivery time varies depending on inventory — please check the current node status in the console. If the status showsPending Activation, please wait patiently for a specialist to complete configuration and activation.
How do I check my order status, expiration date, and renewal history?[ + ]
Please log in to the console and switch to theBillingview to see the complete billing cycle, payment history, and current order status and renewal details.
How do I contact customer support?[ + ]
If you encounter a device failure or network issue, go to theTicketssection via the console left menu and click theNew Ticketbutton in the top right to submit your issue. Our engineering team is available at all times to investigate and resolve the problem.
